The Labelec

Our HQ: a lab full of machines, components and the occasional smell of magic smoke, equipped by 42 to train students in electronics.

Using the lab

  • Most machines need a short training first. The really dangerous ones, like the CNC and the laser cutter, need a thorough one.
  • Not trained on a machine yet? Ask someone who is.
  • Your own projects are welcome as long as they're remotely electronics-related. Basic consumables are provided; bring your own hardware, or borrow some as long as it stays in the lab.
  • We don't repair laptops. But you're welcome to fix a USB port, a cable or a Game Boy cartridge battery yourself.
